AI virtual tutors for tertiary students likened to the leap to calculators in developing critical thinking

Australian researchers are developing artificial intelligence technology to provide around the clock assistance for tertiary students in remote areas. The federal government is also funding study hubs as part of an attempt to better engage remote students and improve completion rates.
